Paula ausente

My husband bought the CD Women of the World Acoustic a while ago but I hadn't really listened to it properly.  At home alone tonight, having put my three children to bed and hubby in North Carolina, I extracted this CD from the case and have now listened to your song at least 10 times - I love it!  Having read the book by Isabel Allende about her daughter a long time ago, certainly before I had children, I am now inspired to read it again, although I am sure it will make me cry, as your song has done!  You have a wonderful voice and even though I cannot understand what you are singing about (I am from the UK and studied Spanish to a very rudimentary level), it is nonetheless very moving.  I look forward to hearing more from you!

Re: Paula ausente

Thank you Sarah, the book Paula is truly sad but wonderfull to read. I am glad you enjoyed the song I wrote inspired by Isabel's daughter Paula.
I loved the way you described your night, quite and in peace with time to listen to the song as many times as you wanted... your kids upstairs dreaming and you alone at home with all the time to yourself.
I am happy I could joing you in such a special evening
